I was originally going to use these for the escalation campaign I have joined, but realised I would never have painted them in time, so at present I just have the 6 archers painted. I will, after Xmas, add the isle of blood set to these and probably leave them at that, or at least for the foreseeable future(almost as many projects as gilly).

Basing is some toy train plastic walling cut onto the base, with powder pigments, tufts, and leaves used. Really happy with them for something so easy.

Bear in mind these have been taken in the evening when there was no natural light, so the light box has helped a little.

These were done with overhead light, but also using the camera flash.

Bloody hell you've rattled them off quick. They look great as well. I thoght you hated painting white?!

Did you shade 'em with dip? Looks good.

No, used the GW sephia wash over white. I did these pretty quick as I was originally going to be them in that escalation league, but they were taking so long I wasn't confident that I could get 500pts worth done in time so switched to Vampire Counts. I will come back to these, did enjoy doing them. Will probably work out 1k worth and stop there. But between Vamps, a few things I would like to finish of my warriors of chaos and finally doing a 40k force(probably marines, still not decided) I am not sure when.

We are going to need Gilly to find some serious painting inspiration if he wants to take on a HE double team!

I like em! Its also interesting to see white shaded with yellow/brown rather than the more grey/blue tones I use - so although our armies would look similar they would still be distinctive

Can't wait to see you paint some cavalry!
